The errant violet or two is expected during November warm spells, but this year's garden has benefited from an unprecedented warm spell. This candytuft sprouted from a package that was dropped in the rain. Procrastination meant that I didn't clean it up so there the paper disintegrated and there the seeds sprouted.
The presence of other blooms doesn't mean, though that I can't appreciate a violet when I see one.
And these hawthorne berries, are as good as blooms
I even came across this coreopsis that has refused to give up.
