God Bless the Moon and God Bless Me

Monday, I posted one photo of the moon. There are more that I want to share. Where we live we can view the night sky with little interference.  While lights of civilization are present, they are distant. If you live in a city or, for whatever reason, you were unable to view this week's moon or you just want another look, please enjoy.

The amber globe illuminates a darkened field below
Clouds cannot obscure the brightening orb
Now cleaned, nothing but atmosphere between us . . .and it.

I am thankful for this golden marble glowing in my night sky.

What wonderful shots of the moon! I have attempted to photograph it on several occasions, but without much success. Thanks for sharing! ~karen

The full moon is certainly beautiful, but leading night walks on the beach for fifth graders gives one a different perspective - several of my favorite night walk activities require darkness and don't work that well with the bright light of the full moon beaming down on us. :)

Gorgeous photos! And it was a lovely blue moon (by the three-moons-in-one-season definition of blue moon). Thanks for sharing these...
