Swooping Views

While standing outside my car on the steep part of our driveway looking for Mulberry tree seedlings I was privileged to catch a few nice views of one of our Red shouldered hawks.  The nest is within view of where I was standing.

I will leave you to soar with the hawk. Enjoy your flight!

So long. Catch you next time through.

What lovely shots, they can be hard to get.

i think that might be a red-shouldered hawk instead of a red-tail. but it is gorgeous!

Tex, of course you are right. I knew that when I was taking the photographs, then got red-tail on my brain and it never left. As you can see I did some quick editing.
Thanks,
nellie

Oh, wonderful shots of the hawk patrolling your gardens. Too bad he wasn't wearing a video camera to give us a birdseye view of the beauty!

Wonderful shots! We get the red-tailed hawks here, but never close enought to photograph.
Wishing you a very lovely weekend,
Zuzu

I envy you having a nest nearby. We see them on power lines along the highway in the winter but they seem to disappear into the woods in the summer.
Great pics!
