Looking across the field I see a bumpy horizon.
The bumps begin to take on definition.
Turkeys were grazing the freshly mown hay field.
Dark shapes against hazy sky, the turkeys lurched toward the trees
where they quickly disappeared camouflaged against the brush.

a great picture story, and I do hope those mean old hunters are no where close by

Great series of photogaphs. Our turkey poults are almost as large as the mother.
