Chick-a-dee-dee-dee-dee-dee

Black Hat
Black cravat
Dressed for a party
Gregarious and quick

He grabs and flies,
invites his friends,
comes back,
grabs another

So very small
so very very brave
eats despite the woman
who clicks the shutter.
Some birds travel in pairs.
Chickadees travel in groups.
Some birds stick with their own species.    These two  defiantly dare me to question their fraternization.

And chickadees are fun.     Dinner and dancing?

Then off to the next feeder party.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
These books look interesting - single species guides.  Have any of you read one? Let me know if they are any good.

Great shots! Such pretty little birds.

I haven't read any of the single-species books but it's a neat concept. I think I would have a breakdown trying to decide which one to start with, though!
