Colors of Life

Leaves have become sparse
on the mountain.
Yet the sun paints strokes
 of color across the valley.
Oh, but it feels good to run free,
through the leaves
on a West Virginia hillside.

That is why it is difficult to get tired of Autumn colors ...

How wonderful to look at the vistas as far as the eyes can see. Yes it is a fancy dream to walk barefoot on the fallen leaves and hear the sounds of dry leaves. That is because we only have the wet and dry season, we don't have the colors of the Autumn and snow.

I bet you get glorious colors in West Virginia! Maybe some day I can see the colors change in that part of the world. The weather has been glorious here in Texas. So nice after such a terrible hot summer.
