I See the Light; The Light Sees Me

Behind black shapes
Dark becomes light.

Seemingly, it climbs
steadily upward,
though merely
sitting still.
We move toward it.

Glow gathers shape.
Shape becomes round.
We turn without feeling.

Inch by inch
we are revealed
to each other.

 A lady or a man
in the gravitational pull
of each other's light.

we are but a reflection
of another's light
that gives us our place;

keeps us "grounded"
with little fear
of careening into Darkness.

Wonderful! I must share this on facebook, since I begged a classmate for a photo of the full moon last week. She does a marvelous job of providing us with sunsets.

This was a very poetic story which like the light, revealed itself slowly, unexpectedly and mysteriously. I really enjoyed this look at dark to light. Great post an uniquely different. Thank you for joining the Illumination meme.
