A Change of Perspective

I know what I saw.  Yes, I'm sure.  It was blue, all blue.

No, not a brown one with orange spots, It was blue with a dark band, tiny white spots and soft brown spots that fade into black along the top of each wing. And Yes, I'm sure.  I saw it very well.

I don't need to look again, or get to know it better.  My first impressions are always right.  I'm a good judge of what something or someone is really like.  I wouldn't make a mistake.

Brown with orange spots? That's not what I saw.  Surely not!  There is no chance . . . Is there? 
Could what I think be different from what is? If that were true, I would have to rethink everything I "know."  I don't know if I'm willing to do that.  Perhaps I could. It could be interesting. I might learn something new. Okay, I'll try.

Hm. m.m.m. . . . A butterfly that looks blue from above but is brown with orange spots below. It's a possibility.
