The meeting

This afternoon the ladies had a meeting to decide how to set up the neighborhood watch program.

The president and vice president argued over where where to set up the podium.

Finally Mrs. Speckler got everyone's attention and laid down the ground rules.

They argued until almost dark about whether to survey from the shed roof or scatter in the field on the lookout for interlopers.  It was a very hard decision

They were still on the fence about it when it was time to go home.
